A Walk Down Brand Memory Lane

In the 20 years since fatrabbit CREATIVE began in Eric Koby's home in Stanhope, NJ we've undergone a ton of changes. Employees have come and gone, locations have changed several times, and we've done what all smart companies do, we've rebranded along the way to reflect where we are at each stage. A brand is so much more than a logo, it's how your company is seen, perceived, and experienced through your mark, font, images, etc. It's the tangible quality that makes you memorable. Take a walk down memory lane with us as we explore the many different faces of the fatrabbit brand over the past 20 years!

Fatrabbit Logos Through Time

Our first logo was hand-drawn by an artist for Eric Koby and features a whimsical nod towards going "down the rabbit hole." Our company started as fatrabbit Design as our focus was on web development and graphic design with Eric Koby doing the majority of the design and development on his own.

In 2008 our logo was redesigned to add color with the new element of the carrot as the "I' adding whimsy and a distinctive color palette to the brand. A consistent focus on creativity paved the way for the growth that would come in the future.

In 2015 our team had grown, adding designers, a full-time developer, and an SEO strategist. The rebrand changed our name to fatrabbit CREATIVE and incorporated entirely new fonts, colors, and styles as well as a fresh, sleek new mark. Our website was also redesigned to include the many services we offer clients with a nod towards our playful, creative approach to innovation with retro game decor and design elements. This was also the first time we used Expression Engine CMS allowing us the freedom to create a one-of-a-kind website to sell our brand 24/7.
